The session commenced at 10am, the master of ceremony was Dr Ashwini, by welcoming the Chief Guests and the execom members of IEEE. In order to start the session on a good note, we seeked the blessings of the Almighty through an invocation song followed by the lighting of the lamp by all dignitaries. Dr Aloknath De, Chair of IEEE Bangalore section welcomed the gathering.

Personal Development Session
29 April 2023
On April 29th, 2023, at 6 pm, the Program Committee of IEEE Bengaluru Section hosted a Personality Development Session on the Cisco Webex platform. The session was conducted by Industry veteran Poornima Murthy, #IamRemarkable Facilitator and Senior Programming Analyst at Citi, and was attended by 60 participants. The session started with an introduction by the emcee, Mayank, who welcomed the attendees and introduced the speaker. Poornima Murthy then took the virtual stage and shared her knowledge and experience on personality development and career development.
SAC leadership Meet #2

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Student Activities Committee (SAC) -Bangalore section held its annual leadership meeting online on April 21, 2023. The meeting was attended by leaders of IEEE SAC from Bangalore section. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the progress made in the previous year and to plan for the upcoming year. The IEEE SAC Bangalore section has made significant progress in 2022 in terms of increasing membership and providing opportunities for leadership development.

On January 25, 2023, the IEEE Bangalore Section SAC hosted the first SAC Leadership Meet using the Cisco Webex platform in online mode. The meeting included all the Student Branch Counsellors and Chairs of various Student branches representing their institutes. Dr. Aloknath De, IEEE Bangalore Subsection Chair, and Dr. Parameshachari B. D. were the guests of honour speaking. MOC gave a heartfelt greeting and gave a brief introduction to the event. Dr. Aloknath De spoke to the group about leadership and the role of IEEE. Sir began by outlining the past three IEEE Bangalore Section meetings.
Walk with IEEE Fellow
The “Sunday Walk and BreakFast” with the IEEE Fellow Dr. Subhas Chandra Mukhopadhyay proved to be a highly enriching experience for attendees, as they gained valuable insights and knowledge on various cutting-edge technologies and innovations.
Photo of the Month recognition

IEEE Bangalore Section actively seeks to recognize and celebrate unique and appealing photos that capture the spirit and essence of IEEE and the vibrancy of the section and its members brought out in events. These photos shall form a repository of sorts for stock photos for Bangalore section media communications. Two outstanding Photos from the pool, subject to the conditions mentioned below, shall be recognized by award of Gift Vouchers of INR 1000 each, intimated by email.
