In order to increase volunteering skills, SAC has planned for week Volunteer Training Program for Student Branch Office bearers and other IEEE Bangalore Section and Subsection Student Volunteers. This is an Online Event and hence all the volunteers can complete this training with ease. The Volunteer Training Program will be approximately 8 Modules and each module will take 1 hour to complete. These modules must be completed within 2 or 3 weeks, after the completion of these modules, there will be Vtools training for the rest of 1 or 2 weeks.
The training program began on 21/7/2022 with an amazing orientation ceremony for all the registered upcoming future volunteers of the section. The session began with an ice-breaking session by Ms. Rubbing G, Membership development Co-lead of SAC 2022 followed by the importance and need for such a volunteering program by Mr. Adwaith, Technical Committee Lead of SAC 2022 then the session was taken over by the SAC Chair Mr. Raghavendra S G enlightening the participants with his motivational and kind words. The session was concluded by Mr. Srinidhi, Membership Development Lead of SAC 2022.
Post the orientation program The participants were given a set of modules to complete for consecutive 3 weeks along with some quizzes and assessments to test their understanding and the learning they built. Along with the modules, we had a series of live sessions taken over by IEEE Leaders of the IEEE Bangalore section.
The first live session was done on the topic: “IEEE And its resources” by our own SAC Chair Mr. Raghavendra Prasad S G.

The next live session was taken over by Mr. Ramneek Kalra, IEEE Impact Creator, and IEEE IC Vaani Editor on the topic “4G-LTE MODEL OF IEEE” (Leadership, Time management, and Event management).

“vTools Training”.
We not only have given them the platform for the learning programs and training by leaders but also we give them some kind of networking and fun activities which will make them come out of all their fears and interact with the world. And Here we had our SAC 2022 Volunteers conducting some brainstorming fun games prepared especially for all the participants to have fun and enjoy. My session was taken over by Skanda and Mahima.
The next live session was taken over by Mr. Pavan Gowda R, IEEE Global Collaborate ambassador and Lead Communication Assistant of IEEE DAY Core Team | Customer specialist @DELL on the topic “IEEE Collabratec”.

Next, we had 2 live sessions continuously which were taken over by Mr. Shahid Khan, Graduate Trainee @Birlasoft and Mr. Aakash Reddy on the topic “Poster designing”. This was followed by us giving 2 simple tasks to all the participants to work on some posters.

Lastly, we are left with 2 more sessions, ie; Session discussion with our SAC CORE Team addressing and giving them insights on how the SAC works and what activities are done and another last session with our Session Chair addressing all the participants on successfully completing the training program and felicitate all the top performers of the program with some goodies and certificates.
