An Open Community to discuss and share the technical and operational knowledge of Digital Signatures and Public Key Infrastructure has been established with the support of the CCA(Controller of Certifying Authorities, Govt. of India) through a project funded to C-DAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing) Bengaluru.

Internet Protocols: Development of Standards.

Protocols are critical for the smooth operation of the Internet, and it is important to be aware of and contribute to the protocol standards being developed by the Internet Community through the IETF, in the upcoming technology areas. The objective is to emphasize the importance and to highlight the process involved.

The targeted audience: participants should exclusively to cater to Industry Professionals, faculty members teaching Computer Networks and Students from Master’s degree courses in Computer Science and IT.

PKI: An Infrastructure for Enabling Electronic Trust

Digital Signature and PKI: Public Key Infrastructure is a virtual infrastructure for enabling trust in transactions over the electronic medium. One of the key applications of PKI is Digital Signature and a technical understanding of the same would help in uncovering the myths, and bring out the security &trust behind the technology.

Digital Signatures armed with legal sanctity, have wide-spread applications cutting across various sectors, and have revolutionized the traditional ways of conducting transactions, in Banking & Commerce, Procurements, Governance, Communications etc… by providing the same elements of trust in an Internet world.

The targeted audience: could be members from Officials working with Digital Signatures in various state departments, Law & IT Enforcement Officials, Researchers, and members from Academic community.
