iOS – Swift Workshop 2016 from IEEE MGA YP, YP Bangalore Section and iOS Developer Group
As Rob Janoff rightfully devised the logo “Byte into the Apple”, the IEEE Young professionals MGA in collaboration with Young Professionals Bangalore and iOS user Group Bangalore invite you to be a part of the two day hands on workshop on iOS App Development. The main highlight of the workshop is the programming language used. The workshop will be conducted based on Apple’s own swift programming language which was open sourced during November 2015. About Swift (For those who does not about Swift)
Swift, Created by Chris Lattner, the same person who wrote LLVM is a general purpose, multi-paradigm, compiled programming language created for iOS, OSX, watch OS, tvOS, and Linux developed by Apple Inc. Swift is intended to be more resilient to erroneous code (safer) than Objective-C, and more concise. It is built with the LLVM compiler framework included in Xcode 6. Swift was introduced at Apple’s 2014 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). Swift is an alternative to the Objective-C language that employs modern programming-language theory concepts and strives to present a simpler syntax. During its introduction, it was described simply as “Objective-C without the C”
