Mr Sudeendra Koushik in an Engineering Graduate (BE E&C) with
Master of Business Administration(MBA) and Post-graduation in Strategy from IIM-K and his research based PhD in the field of Innovation.
Mr Koushik has been a practicing Innovator throughout his career of 24 years, with more than 18 national and international patents in various stages. Koushik is passionate about innovation and has served in Philips Global Development Centre, Singapore, Philips Advanced Systems Laboratory and Philips Innovation Centre Eindhoven, in The Netherlands and Philips Innovation Centre, India. He also worked in HCL as Practice Director Innovation, India and was Vice-President and Head, Innovation at TTK prestige.
Mr Koushik has published several research papers and has conducted numerous workshops on Innovation in India and abroad. He is the recipient of Karnataka State Innovation Council Award, HCL excellence award for Patents, India Design Mark Award from India Design Council and Sir M Viswesvaraya Engineer Award.
Koushik is a regular speaker at various forums including, MIT Emerging Technology Conference, PMI, IEEE, TiE, IIT- Madras, IIT-Gandhinagar, CII, and has written articles for Frost & Sullivan, Deccan Herald etc. Most recently Koushik is selected speaker at IIeX Europe, 2017.
Koushik has served IEEE as founder-member CE Singapore, founder-member, secretary, chairman of CE Bangalore, as Chair professional acivities, joint-treasurer, SAC Chair, Vice-Chairman of the IEEE Bangalore section, member India strategy committee, Co-Chair of Innovation Committee of IEEE Asia-Pacific. Koushik also has volunteered for PMI and was on the jury of and review committees at PMI(USA) standards and awards.
Koushik is on the panel of advisors for many reputed institutes including IIIT-B Innovation centre & Start-up forums. He has co-authored a book ‘A Conversation with the innovator in you’ which appeared in IEEE magazine as a book review article.

Keshav Bapat is currently working at Keysight Technologies India as General Manager. He has been with HP, Agilent, and Keysight for over 25 years, leading different functions such as Application engineering, Consulting, Systems & Solutions, Business Development, and Sales. He was based in Singapore for 5 years and managed Test Systems business in South Asia Pacific region.
Keshav Bapat brings with him rich experience and knowledge of the Test and Measurement industry. He has been associated with major programs in vertical markets of Aerospace & Defence, Wireless Communications and Electronics Manufacturing. He has led teams of highly talented people at Keysight Technologies to develop solutions for customer applications and create new business in emerging markets.
Prior to joining HP, Keshav Bapat was at BEL Bangalore in R&D and Test Engineering functions. He is a Graduate in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Karnataka University. Mr. Puneet Kumar Mishra obtained his M.Tech in RF & Microwave from IIT Rookee in the year 2004. Since 2004 he has been with ISRO Satellite Centre, and is presently Heading Satellite Antenna Characterization, Test & Design Section. He has rich experience of RF characterization of 33 Satellites operating from UHF to Ka-Band. He has Played a pivotal role in establishing S/C level EMC chamber and has Developed a payload to study the RF blackout phenomenon. He has also contributed in Indigenously Developing BusBars for High power S/C. He has published more than 40 papers and won 3 best paper awards.
He is a Senior Member of IEEE, and life member of Astronautical Society of India. He is on the board of reviewers of journals like the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, and IET Microwaves, Antennas & Propagation. He is a passionate volunteers and served Bangalore section as Joint Secretary (2013), Secretary (2014,2015), Treasurer (2016). Sadhana Attavar has over 31 years of experience in non formal education sector in popularising Science. Her major experience is in designing and developing of interactive science exhibits and in integrating the hardware and software to create user-friendly learning solutions. She contributed to the development of science center network all across the country and was instrumental in setting up a new Science Centre in Mangalore.
She has also played a pivotal role in establishing a nation-wide satellite communication link designed for organizing educational extension activities to rural areas across India. She has presented papers in national and international conferences and published articles related to science and technology in various journals and newspapers.
P Deepa Shenoy is currently working as professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore University, Bangalore, India. She did her Doctorate in the area of Data Mining from Bangalore University in the year 2005. Her areas of research include Data Mining, Soft Computing, Biometrics and Social Media Analysis. Mr. Shrikant Tangade has been an avid IEEE volunteer for the past three years. Chandrakanta Kumar (SM’12) was born in Shibpur, W.B., India in 1976. He received his M.Tech and Ph.D. in Radio Physics and Electronics from the University of Calcutta, India, in the year 2001 and 2012 respectively. He has also completed Space Studies Program, from International Space University, Strasbourg, France, in 2013. He joined Communication Systems Group of ISRO Satellite Centre, Bangalore, India in 2001 as an engineer. Since then he is actively involved in design and development of antenna systems for the Indian space programme and related ground stations including ‘Indian deep space network station’ IDSN-32. He has worked on the antenna systems of about 15 spacecraft operating in the frequency range between VHF to Ka-band.
The low gain antenna (LGA) and medium gain antenna (MGA) of the Mars Orbiter Mission were designed by him. He served as project manager, antenna systems, for the first Indian mission to the Moon; Chandrayaan-1/Moon Impact Probe, scientific mission ASTROSAT and the communication satellite GSAT-12. Presently, as a Deputy Project Director; he is responsible for the RF systems of the ISRO’s upcoming soft landing mission to the Moon, Chandrayaan-2. He has more than 100 publications in international journals and conferences, including 32 in IEEE journals to his credit. He is at present supervising two PhD and one MTech students. His areas of interest are lightweight antennas for spacecraft, phased array antennas, microstrip patch antennas, DGS integrated antennas, DR antennas, etc.

C.P. Ravikumar is presently the Director of Talent Development at Texas Instruments, India. He is also an adjunct faculty at IIT Madras. Before joining TI India in 2001, Ravikumar was a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (1991-2001). He also held a visiting position at the University of Southern California (1995-1996) and the position of Vice President (Training) at Controlnet India Pvt Ltd (2000-2001).
He obtained his Ph.D. (Computer Engineering) from the University of Southern California (1991), M.E. in Computer Science with highest scores from Indian Institute of Science (1987) and B.E. in Electronics with a Gold Medal from Bangalore University (1983). He has published over 200 papers in leading International conferences and journals. He has 4 US patents in the area of VLSI Test. He founded the VLSI Design and Test Symposium (VDAT) and has been the General Chair of this event from its inception in 1998. He is the author/editor/coauthor of over 15 books in areas of VLSI and has contributed several book chapters. He has served as an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems and has served on editorial board of the Journal of Electronic Testing – Theory and Applications and the Journal of Low Power Electronics. Prasant is a Scientist in TCS Research and Innovation at TATA Consultancy Services Ltd., Bangalore. He performs research in computational sensing with a focus on cyber-physical systems. He also has a background in middleware for wireless sensor networks and low-power networked embedded systems.

Hari received the B.E. degree from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India, in 1983; the M.Tech. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, New Delhi, India, in 1985; and the Ph.D. degree from the University of California at San Diego, La Jolla, CA, USA, in 1990.Since 1992, he has been with the Department of Electrical Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, where he is currently a Professor and coordinates the activities of the Statistical Signal Processing Laboratory.
He was an Affiliated Professor (2010-16) with the Department of Signal Processing, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. He has been a Visiting Faculty Member with Stanford University, Stanford, CA, USA; KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden; and Aalto University, Espoo, Finland (formerly Helsinki University of Technology).
